'The New Normal' at Juvie Hall

The New Normal at Juvie Hall on the 7, 13 & 14 May 2005

The New Normal is a unique stage experience combining live sketch and complex video. Its a twisted, irreverent, ultimately frightening comedic cocktail that marries The Family Guy with Monty Python, Dave Chappelle with Bill OReilly, and Gawker.com with the Wall Street Journal. The sketches are written by William O'Donnell, Ken Mason, Andrew Clarke, Beth Levy & Ben Orozco.

Deemed sketch commentary by creator/writer/performer William ODonnell, director/writer Ken Mason, and videographer/editors Steve Birnbaum and Martin Hayward, The New Normal thrives in and pokes fun at the post-ironic, post-9/11, Page-Six-in-the-Post world that is our collective 'New Normal'. Inspired by a city in which you cant smoke in a bar, but your dealer makes house calls, the show was born of ODonnells desire for a creative way to not be oblivious.

The cast includes four of the shows writers: William ODonnell, Ken Mason, Beth Levy and Andrew Clarke
