The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree, the animated film which won the �Best Animated Feature� Accolades Award, has been adapted as a stage musical for young audiences and will premiere in New York City at the McGinn Cazale Theatre from 8 Dec 2007 - 6 Feb 2008.

The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree is about two friends, a discarded Christmas bulb and an eight-year-old boy who finds him and takes him home. When the town suffers a blackout from a fierce winter storm, Little Light triumphs over all odds to �shine� the way for others �to see the light.�
Directed by Steven Harris and choreographed by Luis Perez, The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree features Erin Wegner Brooks (Maggie), William Nash Broyles (Colonel), Thom Caska (Girthmore), Reid Kendall (Frank), Adam Mosebach (Jeepers), Katherine Rose Riley (Timmy), Justin Stoney (Little Light), Linsie Van Winkle (Esther), Jon Vertuno (Mr. Goodley) and Amy Zelcer (Melissa).
The creative team comprises Michael Lasswell (sets) and Emily McConnell (costumes).
A touring production of The Littlest Light on the Christmas Tree, directed and choreographed by Luis Perez, will be presented in Chicago area theatres and elsewhere around the nation during the holiday season.
