The Calamity of Kat Kat and Willie at the Medicine Show Theatre


The Babel Theatre Project presents The Calamity of Kat Kat and Willie, by Emily Young, opening at the Medicine Show Theatre on the 8 Jul 2006, following previews from the 5 Jul and running through to the 29 Jul 2006.

The play runs in repertoire with The Insomnia Play. Both plays can be seen on the same evening as a double bill.

The Calamity of Kat Kat and Willie: English ex-pat named Kat Kat needs the help of her sometime boyfriend, Willie, to pull off one last heist. Only problem is, Willie's gone straight. At weekly meetings with the Ex-pat Fraternity and through much mishap, Kat Kat asks herself whether she should stay with Willie in the little flat on the corner of Broad and Sinister Streets or hop a train to somewhere new.

The Calamity of Kat Kat and Willie is directed by Heath Cullens, with set design by Emily Carmichael, lighting by Joshua Randall and sound by Anthony Gabriele.
