Still Lives at the Workshop Theatre

SP Theatre Productions presents Still Lives, by Paul Hancock and directed by Kareem Fahmy, at the Workshop Theatre from 4 - 19 Apr 2008.

Still Lives: Patrick is a visual artist haunted by his past. Sondra, looking for some cash and a new place to live, has convinced him to use her as his model. But Sondra soon realizes Patrick is not as interested in her amorous advances as he is the lines and curves of her body. While he obsessively draws her, Sondra slowly chips away at the carefully constructed walls Patrick is struggling to protect. Throughout, next-door neighbor Monica tries to salvage her marriage to a husband whose life is fading into a haze of drugs and fantasy while the seductive, symbiotic twins help Sondra to further insert herself into Patrick's life. But by the time! Sondra realizes she wants more from her relationship with Patrick, its the twins who have become the object of his affection, and only one certainty is left - everyone must face the unintended consequences of their encounters.
