Spirit Control to play at NY City Center from 7 Oct 2010

Manhattan Theatre Club have announced that their world premiere of Beau Willimon's new play Spirit Control, to now be directed by Henry Wishcamper, will open at NY City Center Stage I on 26 Oct 2010, following previews from 7 Oct 2010.

Doug Hughes, who was previously announced to direct Spirit Control, had to withdraw from the production due to scheduling conflicts.

Both Wishcamper and Willimon will make their Manhattan Theatre Club debuts with Spirit Control.

Spirit Control: Adam Wyatt has the perfect family and a perfect record as an air traffic controller. But when the pilot of a small plane suffers a heart attack, Adam must talk a terrified passenger through an emergency landing. What happens next will link him inextricably to a woman he's never met, and set the life he once knew irrevocably adrift.

Casting, creative team and full schedule for Spirit Control as well as other listings information will be announced in the coming weeks.
