Six opened on Broadway in 2021 at the Lena Horne Theatre, telling the little-known stories of Henry VIII's six wives from their perspective. The women are a contemporary girl group in this concert musical, in which they compete to see whose marriage was the worst and, thus, who gets lead-singer privileges.
Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss co-created Six, including writing its Tony Award-winning original pop score. New York Theatre Guide's critic described the show as "pure musical theatre elation for a pop-packed 75 minutes" in a five-star Six review.
