Paris and Atkinson respectively originated the roles of Jane Seymour and Katherine Howard in London's West End in 2017, going on to perform in its 2018 U.K. tour and 2019 West End return. They and their original co-stars were collectively nominated for an Olivier Award for their performance.

In Six on Broadway, they will perform alongside Khaila Wilcoxon as Catherine of Aragon, Chloe Tucker Caine as Anne Boleyn, Olivia Donalson as Anna of Cleves, and Stephanie Jae Park as Catherine Parr. As previously announced, Caine and Park also join August 17, while Wilcoxon and Donalson are in the current cast.

Current stars Jasmine Forsberg (Seymour) and Abigail Barlow (Howard) will depart the show August 16.

Atkinson will perform through the October 31 matinee, and Paris will perform through December 13. The remainder of the cast will perform into 2027.

Six reimagines the six wives of Henry VIII as a modern pop girl group taking back the microphone to tell their stories on their own terms. The show has run on Broadway to acclaim since 2020 and won two Tony Awards in 2022.
