Michelle Williams, who won Best Actress in a Television Limited Series, Anthology Series or Television Movie for Dying for Sex, can currently be seen off Broadway in the title role of Anna Christie at St. Ann's Warehouse.
Rose Byrne, who won Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, will star opposite Kelli O'Hara in Fallen Angels on Broadway starting March 27.
Additionally, 2026 Golden Globe nominee Ayo Edebiri (The Bear, itself nominated for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy) will make her Broadway debut in Proof opposite Oscar winner Don Cheadle starting March 31. Concurrently, starting March 10, her Bear co-stars Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will make their own Broadway debuts in Dog Day Afternoon.
Carrie Coon, a Best Actress in a Television Supporting Role nominee for The White Lotus, currently stars in Bug on Broadway through February 22.
Additional cast members of Golden Globe-nominated shows on stage this spring include All Her Fault's Sophia Lillis (currently in Data through March 29), the Smartless podcast co-host Sean Hayes (in The Unknown from January 31 to April 12), and The Pitt's Patrick Ball (in his Broadway debut in Becky Shaw from March 18).
Other theatrical winners from this year's Golden Globes ceremony include Jean Smart, who took home her third prize for Hacks and led the solo play Call Me Izzy on Broadway in summer 2025; the blockbuster movie musical KPop Demon Hunters, which won Best Motion Picture, Animated and Best Original Song, Motion Picture; and Chloé Zhao's Hamnet, which took home Best Motion Picture, Drama and a lead actress win for Jessie Buckley. The source material, Maggie O'Farrell's novel Hamnet, was previously turned into a 2023 play that ran in London's West End, and Buckley won an Olivier Award for starring in Cabaret there.
Wicked: For Good, part 2 of the film adaptation of the Wicked Broadway musical, additionally earned five nominations, including lead actress nods for stars (and Broadway veterans) Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The Ethan Hawke-led Blue Moon, about theatre lyricist Lorenz Hart, also earned two nods.
The January 11 ceremony, hosted by Nikki Glaser, also showcased numerous other theatre and movie musical alums including George Clooney, Oscar Isaac, Emma Stone, Colman Domingo, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgard, Paul Mescal, Helen Mirren, Keri Russell, Mark Ruffalo, Gary Oldman, Sarah Snook, Billy Crudup, Aimee Lou Wood, and more among its nominees and guests.
