The Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a new production for it's forthcoming 2016-2017 season. Steppenwolf co-founder Terry Kinney will direct Arthur Miller's The Price, which will begin previews at Broadway's American Airlines Theatre on 16 February 2017, before an official opening on 16 March, and a limited engagement through to 7 May 2017.

Synopsis: "When the Great Depression cost his family their fortune, Victor Franz gave up his dream of an education to support his father. Three decades later, Victor has returned to his childhood home to sell the remainder of his parents' estate. His wife, his estranged brother, and the wily furniture dealer hired to appraise their possessions all arrive with their own agendas, forcing Victor to confront a question, long-stifled, about the value of his sacrifice. Arthur Miller's The Price is a riveting story about the struggle to make peace with the past and create hope for the future."

Casting and creative team information will be announced at a later date.

The Roundabout Theatre Company previously produced The Price in 1992, which received a Tony nomination. Other Roundabout productions of Arthur Miller plays include 'After the Fall' (2004), 'The Man Who Had All the Luck' (2002), 'All My Sons' (1974 & 1997), 'The Crucible' (1989), and the Tony winning revival of 'A View from the Bridge' (1997).
