As part of its 5th Anniversary, Broadway's musical comedy Rock of Ages has announced a month-long celebration, with a social media theme entitled #RockofAge5, beginning on 14 March 2014. To kick off the 'social' party, sister of Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and the company's former Director of Market Development and Spokeswoman, Randi Zuckerburg will be making her Broadway debut in a limited two week only engagement as 'Regina'.

According to Zuckerberg: "Theater-going is one of the few sacred activities where audiences truly unplug and enjoy the moment with the live entertainment right in front of them," said Zuckerberg, the first tech executive to grace the Broadway stage. "It's been a lifelong dream for me to perform on Broadway. I thought I needed to shelve those dreams for my career, but this experience has taught me that there are multiple paths to achieving our dreams and that the modern woman can be well-rounded. In the age of social media where we share both our professional and our personal lives, having a successful career no longer means putting your hobbies and passions aside. As a New Yorker, a theater-lover, and a child of the 80s, I couldn't be more thrilled for the opportunity to perform in Rock of Ages on Broadway."

The five-time Tony Award nominated musical opened on Broadway on 7 Apr 2009 at the Brooks Atkinson, where it previwed from 17 Mar 2009. The show played its final performance at the Brooks Atkinson on 9 Jan 2011, it then resumed performances at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre on 24 Mar 2011.

Rock of Ages opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre to mixed reviews: "A seriously silly, absurdly enjoyable arena-rock musical" (New York Times), "An irresistible, offbeat trip of a show that hits all the right notes." (NY1); "Cheesy exercise in rock nostalgia" (Hollywood Reporter); "A somewhat glib nostalgia trip" (NewsDay).

In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small town girl met a big city rocker and in LA's most famous rock club, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the '80s. It's Rock of Ages, an arena-rock love story told through the mind-blowing, face-melting hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Foreigner and many more.

The cast currently features Genson Blimline (Lonny), Joey Calveri (Stacee Jaxx), Adam Dannheisser (Dennis), Cody Scott Lancaster (Franz), Aaron C. Finley (Drew), Josephine Rose Roberts (Regina), Kate Rockwell (Sherrie), Paul Schoeffler (Hertz) and Teresa Stanley (Justice).

The show is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine (Jersey Boys - Associate Choreographer).
