Rock of Ages: Maroulis's final perf on 9 Sep
Constantine Maroulis will perform for the last time as 'Drew' - for which he was nominated for a Tony - on 9 Sep 2010 before headlining the First National Tour of the musical Rock of Ages, debuting in Chicago on 21 Sep 2010.
Joey Taranto will assume the role of 'Drew' at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre on 10 Sep 2010.
Joey Taranto made his Broadway debut in Rock of Ages as a vacation swing and has only played the role of 'Drew' 9 times. His regional credits include 'Rent' and 'Tommy.'
Additional cast changes include Mitchell Jarvis playing his final performance as 'Lonny' on 5 Sep 2010 and taking over the role of 'Stacee Jaxx' from James Carpinello, who will play his final performance on a date to be determined.
Jay Klaitz, currently starring as 'The Bellhop' in Broadway's 'Lend Me a Tenor,' to begin performances as 'Lonny' on 6 Sep 2010.
Rock of Ages opened at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on 7 Apr 2009, following previews from 17 Mar, where it is currently selling ticets through to 2 Jan 2011.

The show is written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine (Jersey Boys - Associate Choreographer).
Scenic design is by Beowulf Boritt, costume design is by Gregory Gale, lighting design is by Jason Lyons (The Threepenny Opera) and sound design is by Peter Hylenski.
The off Broadway engagement of Rock of Ages opened on 16 Oct 2008 at New World Stages and played its final performance on 4 Jan 2009 after 17 preview and 93 regular performances. The show made its world premiere in Los Angeles at The Vanguard for a limited 4-week run and was extended to 7 weeks by popular demand.
