Rock 'n' Roll Penquin at the New Victory Theater

The New Victory Theater Presents U.S. debut of the innovative Japanese comedy pair known as Gamarjobat in Rock �n Roll Penguin, at the New Victory Theater from 8 - 24 May 2009.

Ketch! and Hiropon are a Japanese comedy duo known as Gamarjobat. Gamarjobat which means �hello� in Georgian, presents an ingenious style of physical theater, full of improvisation, double-take sight gags, and clever sketches, including a featured bit as guitar-riffing penguins with serious rock star aspiration.

Together since 1999, Gamarjobat has taken their wacky and wordless act all over the world, performing in such festivals as The Hitachi International Street Performance Festival in Japan, the Stralsund International Mime Festival in Germany, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the U.K. (2005 Tap Water Award).

Gamarjobat represents the first Japanese company to be presented by The New Victory Theater.
