'QueenLTC' a one-woman comedy show at ManhattanTheatreSource
QueenLTC, is a one-woman multimedia comedy/musical by Kathy Del Rosso, at the ManhattanTheatreSource from the 2 - 5 Nov 2005.
QueenLTC follows a long term care planning lecture gone haywire. Writer and star Kathy Del Rosso cracks mid-speech and takes the audience on an unpredictable ride through the issues affecting the aged. Featuring animation, charts and new songs, it sheds light on Levitra, health care proxies, health care aides' rights and religion.
QueenLTC combines comedy with thought-provoking themes. In recent years, long term care planning has been a hot button issue, partly due to the Terri Schiavo legal case. Del Rosso, though, has had designs on producing a musical for years. As an undergraduate at Hofstra University , she took a theatre class on a whim. Del Rosso explains, "The seed was planted there to create a one act work." Years later, QueenLTC was born.
This new one-woman multimedia musical is written, directed and performed by Kathy Del Rosso
