'None Of The Above' at PS122

Jennifer Lanier

Jennifer Lanier performs a 10 minute showcase from her solo comedy, None Of The Above - along with performances from 14 other artists, as part of the GoTour Road Show, at PS122 on the 8 & 9 Jul 2005.

None Of The Above is written by Jennifer Lanier and Robert Moyer, who also directs, and is produced by Many Horses Productions.

None Of The Above is about Jennifer Lanier's own struggles with identity (racial, gay-straight, gender) and finding her place in the circle of life. Starting with her first day of school, we follow her through the pitfalls of bi-racial identity and first love, through the agony & the ecstasy of the 'perfect' wedding, and through the unexpected wisdom in Aunt Vera's sweet potato pie! Jennifer uses herself as the subject to make fun of the cues we all use to identify race & gender & sexuality.
