Lincoln Center Theater has set Daphne as the first play in its fall Off-Broadway season. Performances run at the Claire Tow Theater from October 7 to November 19, and opening night is on October 23.

The title character of Renae Simone Jarrett's world-premiere play leaves the city to live with her girlfriend, Winona. But in their house in the woods, their relationship goes south, causing Daphne's body to undergo a strange transformation as she questions her new reality.

The cast includes Jasmine Batchelor, Denise Burse, Naomi Lorrain, Keilly McQuail, and Jeena Yi.

The creative team, led by director Sarah Hughes, includes set designer Maruti Evans, costume designer Oana Botez, lighting designer Stacey Derosier, and sound designer Sadah Espii Proctor.

Daphne is presented by LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's program dedicated to producing new works by emerging writers.
