Manhattan Theatre Club more details of their 2005-2006 season
Manhattan Theatre Club have announced further information about its 2005-2006 season, including three shows on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre and three productions at MTC�s Off-Broadway theatres at Stage I and Stage II at NY City Center. A fourth City Center production will be announced in the next few weeks.
MTC�s 2005-2006 season of seven plays includes two world premieres, two American premieres and a New York premiere. The season features works by authors Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Alan Ayckbourn, Nilo Cruz, Ariel Dorfman, David Lindsay-Abaire and Patrick Marber.
In changes to their original announcements, made in March this year, Tally's Folly by Lanford Wilson which was to be directed by Doug Hughes and starring Cynthia Nixon as Sally Talley is no longer listed, Patrick Marber's Rabbit Hole, is now to open on Broadway at the Biltmore Theatre and not at MTC's Off-Broadway theatre, the NY City Center, and Alan Ayckbourn's Absurd Person Singular is to be directed by John Tillenger and not Lynne Meadow.
