Carolee Carmello (Donna Sheridan), Liz McCartney (Rosie), Judy McLane (Tanya), Daniel McDonald (Sam Carmichael), David Beach (Harry Bright), Mark L. Montgomery (Bill Austin), Sara Kramer (Sophie Sheridan), Aaron Staton (Sky) and Ben Gettinger (Pepper) will join Mamma Mia! Wed 20 Oct 2004. Inspired by the songs of ABBA. This original musical is a story of a mother and daughter set on the eve of the daughter's wedding. With music & Lyrics by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, Book by Catherine Johnson, the show opened on Broadway in October 2001 It is directed by Phyllida Lloyd, with choreography by Anthony Van Laast. Broadway roles: Lucille Frank in 'Parade'; Kate in 'Kiss Me Kate'; Marguerite in 'The Scarlet Pimpernel'; Abigail Adams in '1776'; Oolie in 'City of Angels'; Cordelia in 'Falsettos'; and most recently, Ms. Pennywise in 'Urinetown'. Judy McLane (Tanya) as appeared in the following Broadway shows: 'Kiss of the Spiderwoman', 'Aspects of Love' and 'Chess'. Liz McCartney (Rosie). Broadway roles: Miss Flannery in 'Thoroughly Modern Millie', Sue Tilley in 'Taboo', Rebecca in 'Dance Of The Vampires', Carlotta in 'The Phantom of the Opera', Madame Thenardier in 'Les Miserables' Sara Kramer (Sophie Sheridan) is making her Broadway debut. Sara recently played Sophie in the National Tour, after starting the show in an ensemble role. Aaron Staton (Sky) is making his Broadway debut. He has recently appeared regionally in Jesus Christ Superstar and Oliver at West Virginia Public Theatre. 2004 graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. Daniel McDonald (Sam Carmichael) as appeared in the following Broadway shows: 'High Society' and 'Steel Pier'. David Beach (Harry Bright) as appeared in the following Broadway shows: 'Urinetown' and 'Moon Over Buffalo'. Mark L. Montgomery (Bill Austin) is making his Broadway debut. Mark's New York stage debut comes just before with Chicago Shakespeare Theater's production of Edward Hall's Rose Rage at the Duke on 42nd St. Some Chicago credits include: 'The Time of Your Life', and 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof'. Ben Gettinger (Pepper) is making his Broadway debut. Recently graduated from The Boston Conservatory. Regional credits include: 'Side Show', 'Evita' and 'Fiddler on the Roof'.
