Macbeth: Shakespeare in the Park, announce full cast
The full cast has benn announced forShakespeare in the Park Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, opening at the Delacorte Theater on the 28 Jun 2006, following previews from the 13 Jun and running through to the 9 Jul 2006.
Macbeth takes place in a world torn by war, in which treachery, ambition and superstition rule. Macbeth is a victorious war general who applies the rules of war to domestic politics and in the process turns his country upside down. This savage political thriller has never been more timely.
The cast for Macbeth, directed by Mois�s Kaufman, features Liev Schreiber (Macbeth), Jennifer Ehle (Lady Macbeth), Joan MacIntosh (Weird Sister), Ching Valdes-Aran (Weird Sister), and Lynn Cohen (Weird Sister), Herb Foster (Duncan), Jacob Fishel (Malcolm), Pedro Pascal (Bloody Sergant/Murderer 2), Mark L. Montgomery (Lennox), Philip Goodwin (Ross), Teagle F. Bouegere (Banquo), Andrew McGinn (Angus/Murderer 1), Sterling K. Brown (Macduff), Sanjit De Silva (Donalbain), Graeme Malcolm (Seyton), Florencia Lozano (Lady Macduff), Tolan Aman (Boy).
Ensemble: Seth Duerr, Amefika El-Amin, Stephanie Fieger, Hollie Hunt, Michael Markham, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe and Clancy O'Connor.
Tickets are FREE and will be available on the day of the performance (two per person) at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park beginning at 1pm and at The Public Theater, 425 Lafayette Street, from 1pm. to 3pm.
The next Shakespeare in the Park production will be Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage from the 8 Aug - 3 Sep 2006.
