Little Egypt at the Acorn Theatre


HJS Productions presents Little Egypt, book by Lynn Siefert, with lyrics and score by Gregg Lee Henry, at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre from 27 Sep - 5 Oct 2007, as part of the New York Musical Theater Festival.

Little Egypt: A shy mall security guard woos an even shyer waitress in this tragicomic tale of geek love set in Little Egypt, Illinois in the early 1980's. Pushed together and then pulled apart by thier brash, oversexed relatives dn their own crippling insecurities, will misfit knight Victor win damsel Celeste's heart.

Directed by Lisa James, Little Egypt features Lisa Akey, Gregg Henry, Jenny O�Hara, Sara Rue, Raphael Sbarge, and Lee Wilkof.

The design team comprises Lex Liang (sets), VIcki Sanchez (costumes), Brian Gale (lighting) and Duncan Cutler (sound).
