Find her down on Skid Row! Joy Woods will return to Little Shop of Horrors off Broadway, playing at the Westside Theatre, beginning May 2.

Woods is known for starring as Catherine Parr in Six on Broadway in 2022. Her other credits include Dreamgirls, Ratatouille: A TikTok Musical, and the world-premiere musical adaptation of The Notebook.

Notably, she originated the role of Chiffon in this Little Shop of Horrors revival, which opened in 2019. Now, she steps into the lead female role of Audrey, becoming the first Black woman to play the part full-time in this production.

She replaces Euphoria star Maude Apatow, who plays her final performance on April 30. The current Little Shop of Horrors cast also includes Matt Doyle (Company) as Seymour, Drew Gehling (Waitress) as Orin Scrivello, D.D.S., Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!) as Mushnik, Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II, D'Kaylah Unique Whitley as Ronnette, Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon, and Tiffany Renee Thompson as Crystal.

Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's horror comedy Little Shop of Horrors follows Seymour, a geeky flower shop worker who finds an unusual plant that brings him fame, fortune, and the love of his beautiful coworker Audrey. But his success only comes as long as he can supply the plant with fresh blood.

Little Shop of Horrors tickets are now on sale through January 5, 2025.
