Welcome to Skid Row! RuPaul's Drag Race star Jinkx Monsoon will be the next Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors off Broadway, beginning performances in the hit musical revival on April 2 at the Westside Theatre.

Nicknamed "The Queen of All Queens" for winning two seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race, Monsoon has since become a fast-rising theatre star. She made her Broadway debut as Matron "Mama" Morton in Chicago in 2023 to critical acclaim, and she will return to that show for another limited engagement this June.

In Little Shop, Monsoon will take over the role of Audrey from Evan Rachel Wood, as first reported by People Magazine.

Two additional cast members will join alongside Monsoon on April 2: Corbin Bleu will return to the role of Seymour, replacing Darren Criss, and James Carpinello will assume the role of Dr. Orin Scrivello, D.D.S. from Bryce Pinkham.

The current cast also includes Stephen DeRosa as Mr. Mushnik; Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II; D’Kaylah Unique Whitley as Ronnette; Tiffany Renee Thompson as Crystal; and Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon.

Little Shop of Horrors has been running off Broadway since 2019 to acclaim. The musical follows nerdy flower shop worker Seymour, who finds a mysterious talking plant that promises him a new lease on life, fame, and love — for the price of human flesh. The horror comedy includes the classic songs "Suddenly Seymour" and "Somewhere That's Green."
