Jillian Mueller & Brennin Hunt assume leading roles in Pretty Woman: The Musical on Broadway

Mueller & Hunt take over as Vivian Ward and Edward Lewis, respectively, for the final weeks of the Broadway run at the Nederlander Theatre.

Welcome to Rodeo Drive! Pretty Woman: The Musical cast member Jillian Mueller steps up and assumes the leading role of Vivian Ward, whilst Brennin Hunt, perhaps best known to Broadway fans for his recent TV outing as Roger in Fox's "Rent Live!," joins the cast and makes his Broadway debut as Edward Lewis at the Nederlander Theatre tonight. Original cast members Samantha Barks and 3-time Tony Award nominee & Olivier Award winner Andy Karl played their final performances in the production on July 21.

The principal cast of Pretty Woman: The Musical currently includes Jillian Mueller (as Vivian Ward), Brennin Hunt (as Edward Lewis), Tony Award nominee Orfeh (as Kit De Luca), Jason Danieley (as Phillip Stuckey), Eric Anderson (as Mr. Thompson), and Kingsley Leggs​ (as James Morse).

Pretty Woman: The Musical officially opened at the Nederlander Theatre on August 16, 2018, following previews from July 20, and is set to close on August 18, 2019, as recently reported.

Synopsis: "Vivian and Edward are unlikely soulmates who overcome all odds to find each other... and themselves. Pretty Woman is directed and choreographed by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. The show features original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, and a book by Garry Marshall and J.F. Lawton, the director and screenwriter, respectively, of the original movie.

The creative team features music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke, scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner & Philip S. Rosenberg, sound design by John Shivers, and hair design by Josh Marquette.

Pretty Woman: The Musical is produced on Broadway by Paula Wagner, Nice Productions, LPO, New Regency Productions, Roy Furman, James L. Nederlander, Caiola Productions, Hunter Arnold, Stage Entertainment and The John Gore Organization.

Pretty Woman: The Musical Tickets are available now for performances through August 18, 2019.
