Pretty Woman: The Musical to end Broadway run at the Nederlander Theatre

The Broadway premiere will now play its final performance on August 18, 2019.

Farewell Rodeo Drive! Producers have posted a closure notice for Pretty Woman: The Musical, currently running at the Nederlander Theatre. The production will now play its final performance on August 18, 2019, and will have played a total of 27 previews and 421 regular performances upon closing.

Pretty Woman began previews on July 20, 2018, before an official opening on August 16.

The cast of Pretty Woman currently includes Samantha Barks (as Vivian Ward), Andy Karl (as Edward Lewis), Orfeh (as Kit de Luca), Charlie Pollock (as Phillip Stuckey), Eric Anderson (as Mr. Thompson) and Kingsley Leggs (as James Morse).

As previously announced, Jillian Mueller will take over the role of Vivian Ward and Brennin Hunt will assume the role of Edward Lewis from July 22, 2019.

The creative team of Pretty Woman features a book by Garry Marshall & J.F. Lawton, music by Bryan Adams & Jim Vallance and the production is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell. Scenic design is by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner & Philip S. Rosenberg and sound design by John Shivers.

Pretty Woman: The Musical Tickets are available now for performances through August 18, 2019.
