High Fidelity more cast.

Jenn Colella, Christian Anderson, Jay Klaitz, Katy Mixon, Emily Swallow, Jon Patrick Walker and Kirsten Wyatt will join Will Chase, who was previously announced to play Rob, the record store owner with a lousy track record in love, in the cast of High Fidelity.

Also joining the ensemble of High Fidelity are Justin Brill, Andrew Call, Matt Caplan and Anne Warren, along with Paul Castree, Rachel Stern and J.B. Wing.

The musical will have a pre-Broadway engagement at the Colonial Theatre in Boston from 26 Sep - 22 Oct 2006 and is expected to open on Broadway in the Fall of 2006, theatre to be named.

Based on Nick Hornby's best-selling novel (later a popular film by Touchstone Pictures), High Fidelity has original music by composer Tom Kitt, lyrics by Amanda Green, and book by David Lindsay-Abaire.

High Fidelity is a romantic musical comedy that follows the adventures of Rob, a record store owner who knows almost everything about pop music, but almost nothing about how to hang onto a girl. Rob's love life, already a broken record of heartache, falls off the charts completely when he gets dumped by Laura, but that just sets him up for one of the top 5 romantic comebacks ever.

High Fidelity is choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, and has set design by Anna Louizos, costume design by Theresa Squire, lighting design by Ken Billington and sound design by Acme Sound Partners.

The musical is being produced by Jeffrey Seller, Robyn Goodman and Kevin McCollum, the trio who produced the Broadway musical comedy Avenue Q, winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Musical.

Will Chase plays Rob in High Fidelity, and Jenn Colella will play Laura. Christian Anderson and Jay Klaitz will portray Dick and Barry, respectively, the comically eccentric music buffs who work in Rob's record store. Katy Mixon portrays Rob's gal pal Liz; and Emily Swallow, Kirsten Wyatt and Anne Warren portray women from Rob's many failed romances.

Will Chase (Rob) was last seen on Broadway when he played 'John Lennon, in the short-run musical 'Lennon'. His other Broadway credits include 'Aida', 'Rent', 'The Full Monty' and 'Miss Saigon'.

Jenn Colella (Laura) made her Broadway debut in 2003 when she starred as Sissy in the musical Urban Cowboy.

Kirsten Wyatt made his Broadway debut as the replacement (Little Becky Two Shoes / Mrs. Millennium) in the musical Urine Town.

Jay Klaitz (Barry), Katy Mixon (Liz), Emily Swallow and Jon Patrick Walker are making their Broadway debuts.
