"Get Up and Go" to Broadway's Hudson Theatre before the new musical comedy Head Over Heels officially closes on January 6, 2019! Previews began on June 23, 2018, ahead of an official opening on July 26, and, upon closing, the production will have played a total of 37 previews and 188 regular performances. It was originally booking through to February 17, 2019.

The musical showcases the greatest hits of the most successful all-female rock band of all time - The Go-Go's. Songs include "We Got the Beat," "Get Up and Go," "Cool Jerk," "Vacation," "Our Lips Are Sealed," "Lust to Love," and "Head Over Heels," as well as Belinda Carlisle's solo hits "Mad About You" and "Heaven is a Place on Earth." Originally comprised of Charlotte Caffey, Belinda Carlisle, Gina Schock, Jane Wiedlin and Kathy Valentine, the Go-Go's helped define the pop-rock sound of the early 1980's, making history as the first all-female band to top the Billboard charts, who not only wrote their own songs, but also played their own instruments live.

Based on The Arcadia by Sir Philip Sidney, Head Over Heels was conceived and features an original book by Tony Award winner Jeff Whitty, later adapted by James Magruder. Musical supervision, orchestrations and arrangements are provided by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Tom Kitt. The production is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer and choreographed by Emmy Award nominee Spencer Liff.
