Following the success of the current sold-out run of Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King at the Cherry Lane Theatre, which plays its final performance on 15 November 2015, the show will return to the same venue from 7 to 30 January 2016.

Hasan Minhaj released the following statement:

""I've truly been overwhelmed and humbled by the amazing response this show has received. The story of the American Dream is everyone's story. Regardless of race, culture, creed, or class, everyone has felt like an outsider at some point in life. I'm thrilled that so many people have connected to stories of love, family, fear, and forgiveness."
Synopsis: "Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King, the story of the "New Brown America," is based on true events from Minhaj's first generation Indian-American experience. Navigating between two worlds, it follows Minhaj's arrival in the US, interracial love, racism, bullying, and his family's quest to achieve the elusive American Dream."

"The Daily Show" correspondent Hasan Minhaj's self-penned one man show is directed by Greg Walloch and features scenic design by Sara C. Walsh, lighting design by Sarah Lurie, and costume design by Kristen Buckels.

Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King is produced off-Broadway by Mike Berkowitz and Mike Lavoie.
