Hand to God: MCC announces complete cast

MCC have announced the full cast for their production of Robert Askins' Hand to God, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, opening at the Lucille Lortel Theatre on 10 Mar 2014, following previews from 20 Feb 2014, and running through to 30 Mar 2014.

Joining the previously announced Steven Boyer (Jason/Tyrone), will be Marc Kudisch (Pastor Greg), Geneva Carr (Margery), Michael Oberholtzer (Timmy) and Sarah Stiles (Jessica).

In Hand to God the good children of Cypress, Texas are taught to obey the Bible in order to evade Satan's hand. But when students at the Christian Puppet Ministry put those teachings into practice, one devout young man's puppet takes on a shocking personality that no one could have expected.

The creative team for Hand to God is still to be announced.

Cast Bios:

Steven Boyer (Jason/Tyrone) has appeared on Broadway in 'I'm Not Rappaport.' Off-Broadway credits include 'The Explorers Club,' 'Modern Terrorism, or They Who Want to Kill Us and How We Learn to Love Them,' 'The School For Lies,' 'The Coward.' 'Misalliance' and 'Richard III'. His movie credits include "Did You Hear About the Morgans?" and "Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best."

Marc Kudisch (Pastor Greg) was nominated for Tony Awards for '9 to 5,' 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and 'Thoroughly Modern Millie.' Other Broadway credits include 'The Apple Tree,' 'Assassins,' 'Bells Are Ringing,' 'The Wild Party,' 'High Society,' 'The Scarlet Pimpernel,' 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.' His Off-Broadway credits include 'The Blue Flower,' 'A Minister's Wife,' 'The Glorious Ones,' 'See What I Wanna See,' 'The Thing About Men' and 'Noo Yawk Tawk.' He will next be seen in the movie "Best Man in the Dark," which will be released in 2014.

Geneva Carr (Margery) Off-Broadway credits include 'Betty's Summer Vacation' and 'Over the River and Through the Woods.' Her TV cedits include playing "Faith Yancy" in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Diane Connor" in "The Onion News Network" and "Pamela Keppler" in "Rescue Me." Films include "Darkroom," "Alter Egos," "The Melancholy Fantastic" and "College Road Trip."

Michael Oberholtzer (Timmy) has appeared Off-Broadway in 'The Talls.'

Sarah Stiles (Jessica) has appeared on Broadway in 'On a Clear Day You Can See Forever,' 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' and 'Avenue Q.' Her Off-Broadway credits include 'Into the Woods,' 'The Road to Qatar,' 'Vanities' and 'Captain Louie.'
