New York Theatre Workshop has now announced details of the final two productions to complete the line-up for its upcoming 2019-2020 Off-Broadway season.

In Winter 2020, NYTW will present Endlings, a new play by Celine Song, which will be directed by Sammi Cannold.

Synopsis: "On the Korean island of Man-Jae, three elderly haenyeos—sea women—spend their dying days diving into the ocean to harvest seafood. Across the globe on the island of Manhattan, a Korean-Canadian playwright, twice an immigrant, spends her days wrestling with the expectation that she write "authentic" stories about her identity. Endlings questions what we inherit and challenges who dictates the terms."

Endlings follows the previously announced productions of the New York Premiere of Mfoniso Udofia's runboyrun and In Old Age, which kicks off the 2019-2020 season in the fall, and the world premiere musical Sing Street, featuring a book by Tony Award winner Enda Walsh and music & lyrics by John Carney & Gary Clark.

Following the previously postponed production of Pulitzer Prize winner Martyna Majok's Sanctuary City, New York Theatre Workshop will conclude its Off-Broadway season with a new production of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, directed by Tony Award winner Sam Gold and starring Academy Award nominee Greta Gerwig and Golden Globe Award winner Oscar Isaac.

"NYTW Usual Suspect Sam Gold revisits Chekhov following his acclaimed 2012 production of Uncle Vanya that was heralded as "luminous" and "the most intimate and engaging exploration of Chekhov's bleak comedy." This production of Three Sisters reunites Gold with two previous collaborators: The Village Bike's Greta Gerwig and Hamlet's Oscar Isaac."

Greta Gerwig last appeared on the New York stage in MCC Theater's 2014 production of The Village Bike, under the direction of Sam Gold, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre. She earned two Academy Award nominations in 2018 - for her original screenplay and direction of "Lady Bird" - and she is also widely known for her Golden Globe-nominated portrayal of Frances in the 2012 film "Frances Ha," alongside roles in the likes of "Greenberg" (2010), "Mistress America" (2015), "Jackie" (2016), and "20th Century Women" (2016).

Oscar Isaac was directed by Sam Gold for his performance in the titular role of Hamlet at the Public Theater in the summer of 2017. He won a Golden Globe in 2016 for his performance in "Show Me a Hero," and earned a Golden Globe nomination in 2014 for "Inside Llewyn Davis, and he is perhaps best known for his roles as Nathan in the 2014 movie "Ex Machina" and as Poe Dameron in 2017's "Star Wars: The Last Jedi".

Performance dates, additional casting and creative team information for NYTW's 2019-2020 Off-Broadway season will be announced shortly.
