Fuerza Bruta to close off-Broadway on 28 August 2016

Long-running off-Broadway show Fuerza Bruta has now announced a closing date of 28 August 2016 at the Daryl Roth Theatre.

The New York production of Fuerza Bruta began performances in 2007 and upon closing, it will have played over 3,000 performances and entertained nearly 1 million visitors over the course of its 9-year run.

Fuerza Bruta is still represented in Buenos Aires, as well as throughout China with its touring company. Furthermore, the producers have announced planned tours for through the United States and Argentina, and productions for Bucharest, Istanbul and Milan.

Fuerza Bruta is an Argentinean-founded spectacle-based experience created by artistic director Diqui James and musical director Gaby Kerpel, who also created 'De La Guarda.' Fuerza Bruta originally premiered in Buenos Aires in 2005 and has been seen around the world including in London, Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Puerto Rico and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
