From Up Here to replace MTC's previously scheduled The Starry Messanger


The Manhattan Theatre Club have announced that Liz Flahive's new play From Up Here will replace Kenneth Lonergan's previously scheduled 'The Starry Messanger'

The world premiere production of From Up Here is being presented by the Manhattan Theatre Club in association with Ars Nova and will open at NY City Center Stage 1 on 6 Apr 2008, following previews from 27 Mar 2008.

The MTC have provided no synopsis for From Up Here, which was initially developed at Ars Nova through the Out Loud play-reading series and in-house workshops.

The play will be directed by Leigh Silverman, who is currently presented off-Broadway with the Public Theater's production of Yellow Face.

Casting and design team for the production will be announced in the coming weeks.
