Pour the wine and raise a cup! Eva Noblezada will play her final performance as Eurydice the Broadway production of Hadestown on August 13. Noblezada began playing the role at the National Theatre in London in 2018, then transferred with the production to Broadway the following year.

“I could’ve never dreamed of the extent of how much my life would be radically blessed by this epic love song of a show,” said Noblezada in a statement. “As heartbreaking as it feels to leave, I am comforted by the gloriously infinite memories this show has given me and I know I can look back whenever and be serenaded by them.”

The Tony Award-winning production, written by Anaïs Mitchell and directed by Rachel Chavkin, is a folk musical inspired by the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice.

The Broadway company currently features Reeve Carney as Orpheus, Lillias White as Hermes, Jewelle Blackman as Persephone, and Tom Hewitt as Hades. The cast also includes Amelia Cormack, Lindsey Hailes, and Brit West as the Fates, and Emily Afton, Malcolm Armwood, Alex Lugo, Sayo Oni, Alex Puette, and Grace Yoo as the Chorus of Workers. Brandon Cameron, Max Kumangai, Yael “YaYa” Reich, Eddie Noel Rodríguez, and Allysa Shorte serve as swings.
