Darren Criss, Renée Elise Goldsberry to host 'The Tony Awards: Act One'
The pre-show special will air directly before the main Tony Awards broadcast on Sunday, June 8, and contain exclusive awards presentations and other content.
Darren Criss and Renée Elise Goldsberry will host The Tony Awards: Act One, an exclusive pre-show for the Tony Awards ceremony taking place on June 8.
Criss is a 2025 Tony Award nominee for both Best Musical and Best Leading Actor in a Musical, for producing and starring in Maybe Happy Ending. Goldsberry is a Tony and Grammy Award winner for originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton, and she is also well-known for starring in the TV series Girls5eva.
The Tony Awards: Act One broadcast includes additional awards presentations, performances, and other exclusive content not shown on the main broadcast. Act One airs live on Pluto TV from 6:40-8 p.m. on June 8, while the main ceremony, hosted by Tony winner Cynthia Erivo, will air on CBS and Paramount+ from 8-11 p.m.
