CSC's A Month in the Country extends to 28 Feb 2015

The Classic Stage Company's production of Ivan Turgenev's A Month in the Country, directed by Erica Schmidt, which began previews on 9 January 2015 and officially opened on 29 January, has extended its limited run by one week and is now booking through to 28 February 2015.

Synopsis: "A Month In The Country chronicles the turmoil that befalls an otherwise quiet country estate when a handsome young tutor arrives to teach Natalya Petrovna's young son. But it is Natalya (Schilling) who soon becomes interested in a tutelage of another kind, much to the consternation of her husband and her long suffering friend, Rakitin (Dinklage), who is hopelessly and secretly smitten with her."

The cast of A Month in the Country includes 'Game of Thrones' star Peter Dinklage (Rakitin), 'Orange is the New Black' actress Taylor Schilling (Natalya), Emmy nominee and Golden Globe-winner Anthony Edwards (Arkady), Emmy nominee Annabella Sciorra (Lizaveta) and Tony Award-winner Elizabeth Franz (Anna), with Peter Appel, Ian Etheridge, Mike Faist, James Joseph O'Neil, Elizabeth Ramos, Thomas Jay Ryan, Frank Van Putten and Megan West.

The creative team behind A Month in the Country features scenic design by Mark Wendland, costumes by Tom Broecker, lighting by Jeff Croiter and sound design by Bart Fasbender.
