Cast announced for Trip Of Love at Stage 42
Casting has now been announced for the 1960s-themed Dance Musical Trip Of Love, created, directed and choreographed by James Walski, which features 25 of the biggest hits of the 1960s.
The cast includes Joey Calveri, David Elder, Kelly Felthous, Dione Figgins, Austin Miller, Katie Webber, Laurie Wells,with Yesenia Ayala, Colin Bradbury, Bo Broadwell, Kyle Brown, Whitney Cooper, Alexa De Barr, Daniel Lynn Evans, Lisa Finegold, Steve Geary, Daryl Getman, Jennifer Gruener, Brandon Leffler, Peter Nelson, Tara Palsha, Kristin Piro, and Nicky Venditti.
The off-Broadway premiere will begin previews at Stage 42 (formerly the Little Shubert Theatre) on 26 September 2015, before an official opening on 18 October. The show is currently booking through to 4 September 2016.
Synopsis: "American pop culture is still pulsing with the psychedelic energy of the Sixties, an era of expression and revolution around the world. Trip Of Love brings the decade to life with over 25 of the biggest hits of the '60s, including 'Blowin' In The Wind,' 'Born To Be Wild,' 'California Dreamin',' 'I Saw Her Standing There,' 'These Boots Are Made For Walkin',' 'White Rabbit,' 'You Don't Own Me' and many more."
Producer Makoto Deguchi previously released the following statement:

The songs audiences will hear and the dances they will find themselves watching are nothing short of spectacular, and I am thrilled to bring this giant of a show to the Little Shubert Theatre, where everyone can experience the TRIP OF LOVE adventure in an exciting, personal and intimate way."Trip Of Love also features scenic design consultation by Robin Wagner and costume design by Gregg Barnes.
The show originally premiered at the Theatre Brava! in Osaka, Japan.
