Initial casting has been announced for Second Stage Theater's upcoming production of Young Jean Lee's Straight White Men, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, as Armie Hammer is set to make his Broadway debut as Drew and Emmy Award winner Tom Skerritt will return to Broadway to take on the role of Ed.

Armie Hammer is best known for his work in films such as "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", "The Lone Ranger", "Call Me by Your Name", "Nocturnal Animals", "The Social Network", "Cars 3", "Entourage," "Mirror Mirror", and "J. Edgar".

Tom Skerritt previously made his Broadway debut as Lucien Wilbanks in A Time to Kill in 2013. His screen credits include his Emmy Award-winning performance as Sheriff Jimmy Brock in "Picket Fences" (which also earned him two Golden Globe nominations and a further Emmy Award nomination), as well as the roles of Viper in "Top Gun" and Dallas in "Alien" and other roles in "M*A*S*H", "Turning Point," "A River Runs Through It", "Steel Magnolias", and "Contact."

Straight White Men begins previews at the Hayes Theater on June 29, 2018, ahead of an official opening on July 23.

Synopsis: "It's Christmas Eve, and Ed has gathered his three adult sons to celebrate with matching pajamas, trash-talking, and Chinese takeout. But when a question they can't answer interrupts their holiday cheer, they are forced to confront their own identities. Straight White Men takes a hilariously ruthless look at the classic American father-son drama. This is one white Christmas like you've never seen before."

The creative team features scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Suttirat Larlab, lighting design by Donald Holder, and sound design by M.L. Dogg.

Young Jean Lee will make history as the first female Asian-American playwright to ever be produced on Broadway.
