One of New York's most acclaimed stage performers, Birney boasts a decades-spanning career whose Broadway credits include The Humans (Tony Award), Picnic, Casa Valentina, Gemini and 1984. Off Broadway, Birney performed in Circle Mirror Transformation and received Drama Desk Awards for his performances in Casa Valentina and The Humans.
He has appeared in films including Mass and television series including House of Cards, Succession, and Girls.
