Dariush Kashani stars in Kyoto off Broadway at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater from October 8, 2025.
Kashani is best known for his performance as Hassan Asfour in the Tony Award-winning play Oslo both on and Off-Broadway, winning an Obie Award alongside his cast for the Off-Broadway run. He also starred in the lead role of Tewfiq in The Band's Visit and performed in The Kite Runner, both on Broadway, and appeared in the romance play Duke & Roya off Broadway.
His TV credits include FBI, High Maintenance, and Lost.
