The musical adaptation of Natalie Babbitt's best-selling novel Tuck Everlasting, directed and choreographed by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw, will begin performances at a yet-to-be-named Shubert Theatre on 19 March 2016, before an official opening on 17 April 2016.

The musical, which features music by Chris Miller, lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and a book by Tony nominee Claudia Shear, staged its world premiere earlier this year in a record-breaking engagement at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre.

Producer Beth Williams released the following statement:

"Natalie's story has touched generations of readers, and it's a thrill to bring Tuck Everlasting to the Broadway stage! Casey, Claudia, Chris and Nathan are reimagining the adventures of Winnie Foster and the Tucks against a stunning canvas created by our extraordinary design team. Together, they've created a wholly original and highly entertaining new musical that will ignite the imagination of anyone who's ever dreamed of the magic right outside their own front gate."
Natalie Babbitt's novel was first published in 1975 and has since been translated into 27 different languages and sold over four million copies in the United States alone.

Tuck Everlasting features scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Tony winner Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Tony winner Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony winner Brian Ronan, orchestrations by John Clancy, and musical supervision by Rob Berman.

The musical is produced on Broadway by Grove Entertainment, Arlene Scanlan & Michael Jackowitz, Howard & Janet Kagan, and Barry Brown.

Casting and venue information will be announced at a later date.
