Annie Baker's 2014 Pulitzer Prize-winning play The Flick will return to off-Broadway and begin previews at the Barrow Street Theatre on 5 May 2015, before an official opening on 28 May and a limited engagement through to 30 August 2015.

The Flick will once again be directed by Sam Gold, with cast members Alex Hanna, Louisa Krause, Matthew Maher, and Aaron Clifton Moten all reprising their roles from the previous Playwrights Horizons premiere from March 2013.

Synopsis: "In a run-down movie theater in central Massachusetts, three underpaid employees mop the floors and attend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state. Their tiny battles and not-so-tiny heartbreaks play out in the empty aisles, becoming more gripping than the lackluster, second-run movies on screen. The Flick is a cry for authenticity in a fast-changing world."

The creative team also reunites for the production and features scenic & costume design by David Zinn, lighting design by Jane Cox, and sound design by Bray Poor.
