Primary Stages announce casting for Informed Consent

Primary Stages have announced casting for their upcoming production of Informed Consent, a New York premiere by Deborah Zoe Laufer at The Duke on 42nd Street which runs from 4 August to 13 September 2015, with an official opening on 18 August 2015.

The cast will feature Pun Bandhu, Annie Parisse, Jesse J. Perez, DeLanna Studi and Myra Lucretia Taylor.

Described as an "urgent, challenging, and of-the-moment" drama, the play is about one woman's quest to answer the mysteries of science and her own life, inspired by a landmark court case between one of the country's largest universities and a Native American tribe based in the Grand Canyon.

It will feature scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Jacob A. Climer, lighting design by Matthew Richards, original music and sound design by Broken Chord and projection design by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew.

Deborah Zoe Laufer's plays have been produced at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Cleveland Playhouse, Geva Theatre Center, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Actor's Theatre of Louisville, Portland Stage, and eighty other theaters around the country, in Germany, Russia and Canada.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
