Playwrights Horizons has now announced complete casting to join five-time Emmy Award nominee Jesse Tyler Ferguson in the upcoming world premiere of Log Cabin, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Jordan Harrison and directed by Tony Award winner Pam MacKinnon.

The cast includes Mr. Ferguson (as Ezra) alongside Obie Award winner Phillip James Brannon (as Chris), Cindy Cheung (as Pam), Ian Harvie (as Henry), Talene Monahon (as Myna), and Dolly Wells (as Jules).

Log Cabin will play a limited engagement at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater from June 1 through to July 15, 2018, with an official opening set for June 25.

Synopsis: "It's a faraway age of hope and inclusivity; in other words, it's 2015. When a tight-knit circle of married gays and lesbians - comfy in the new mainstream - sees themselves through the eyes of their rakish transgender pal, it's clear that the march toward progress is anything but unified. With stinging satire and acute compassion, Jordan Harrison's pointed comedy charts the breakdown of empathy that happens when we think our rights are secure, revealing conservative hearts where you'd least expect."

The creative team has also been announced and features scenic design by Tony Award nominee Allen Moyer, costume design by Jessica Pabst, lighting design by Russell H. Champa and sound design by Leah Gelpe.

Playwrights Horizons' currently running productions include the world premiere of Lindsey Ferrentino's This Flat Earth, which concludes its limited engagement at the Mainstage Theater this Sunday, April 29, and the world premiere of Obie Award winner Clare Barron's new comedy Dance Nation, which officially opens at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater on May 8 and continues its limited run through to May 27, 2018.
