Broadway favorite and Drama Desk Award winner Michael Urie has joined the star-studded line-up for the previously announced Broadway premiere of Celebrity Autobiography, which debuted at the Marquis Theatre on November 26, 2018. Mr. Urie is set to appear in the December 17 performance.

Michael Urie can currently be seen in the starring role of Arnold Beckoff in Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song, which, as reported, is set to play its final performance on January 6, 2019. He made his Broadway debut as Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2012 and has garnered great acclaim for his appearances off-Broadway, picking up Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Awards for his performance as Alex More in solo show Buyer & Cellar, as well as Lucille Lortel and Theatre World Awards for his portrayal of Rudi Gernreich in The Temperamentals. Other off-Broadway credits include Angels in America, The Government Inspector, Shows for Days, and The Cherry Orchard. To TV audiences, he is perhaps best know for his long-running role as Marc St. James on "Ugly Betty".

Here is the updated schedule for the remaining two performances, subject to change:

DECEMBER 10: Alec Baldwin, Mario Cantone, Tony Danza, Rachel Dratch, Susan Lucci, Eugene Pack, Dayle Reyfel, and Cecily Strong

DECEMBER 17: Mario Cantone, Rachel Dratch, Susan Lucci, Eugene Pack, Antoni Porowski, Dayle Reyfel, and Michael Urie

Created by Emmy Award nominee Eugene Pack and developed by Pack alongside Dayle Reyfel, Celebrity Autobiography was first staged in Los Angeles in 1998 and went on to gain grain popularity thanks to a 2005 television special on Bravo. Beginning in 2008, Celebrity Autobiography has been regularly mounted off-Broadway at the Triad, featuring a stellar line-up of comedic actors performing from the actual memoirs of a wide variety of stars, ranging from Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds, and Eddie Fisher to Richard Burton. It has since been performed in London's West End, in Edinburgh, and at Australia's Sydney Opera House.

Celebrity Autobiography on Broadway is produced by MagicSpace Entertainment, Angelo Fraboni, Carl Pasbjerg, Dayle Reyfel and EP Productions.
