MCC Theater's casting of The Legend of Georgia McBride

MCC Theater has now announced casting for its upcoming comedy The Legend of Georgia McBride, written by Matthew Lopez and directed by Mike Donahue, which will begin previews on 20 August 2015, before an official opening on 9 September and a limited run through to 4 October 2015.
The cast includes Dave Thomas Brown (Casey), Wayne Duvall (Eddie), Matt McGrath (Tracy), Keith Nobbs (Rexy/Jason), and Afton C. Williamson (Jo).

Synopsis: "How can an Elvis impersonator become a winning drag queen in the Florida Panhandle? With an empty bank account and a pregnant wife, Casey's going to have to answer that question fast in this music-filled comedy about finding your true voice."

The creative team behind The Legend of Georgia McBride features choreography by Paul McGill, set design by Tony winner Donyale Werle, costumes by Anita Yavich, hair and makeup by Jason Hayes, lighting by Ben Stanton, and sound design by Jill DuBoff.
