Lincoln Center Theater has announced the cast for Joshua Harmon's new play Admissions, directed by Daniel Aukin, which will begin previews at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater on February 15, 2018, before an official opening on March 12 and a limited engagement through to April 29, 2018.

Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht will take on the role of Sherri Rosen-Mason and star alongside five-time Tony Award nominee Dana IveyBen Edelman, Andrew Garman, and Sally Murphy.

Synopsis: "Sherri Rosen-Mason is head of the admissions department at The Hillcrest School, fighting to diversify the student body. And alongside her husband, the school's Headmaster, they've largely succeeded in bringing a stodgy institution into the twenty-first century. But when their only son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, personal ambition collides with progressive values, with convulsive results. Admissions is a new play that explodes the ideals and contradictions of liberal white America."

The creative team behind Admissions features scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Mark Barton, and sound design by Ryan Rumery.

Lincoln Center Theater's current off-Broadway production of Sarah DeLappe's acclaimed new play The Wolves continues performances at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater through to January 7, 2018. An official opening is scheduled for November 20.
