Lena Hall to star as Audrey in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’

The Off-Broadway revival continues at the Westside Theatre.

The Tony-winning actress Lena Hall will play Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors from September 6. The Snowpiercer television actress's Broadway credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Kinky Boots. Andrew Call will also join Little Shop of Horrors as Orin Scrivello, D. D. S. from August 30.

Original Little Shop of Horrors cast members Christian Borle and Tammy Blanchard will depart the production on August 28 and September 4 respectively.

The full cast includes Rob McClure as Seymour, Stuart Zagnit as Mushnik, Aaron Arnell Harrington as The Voice of Audrey II, Khalifa White as Ronnette, Cristina Raé as Chiffon, Khadija Sankoh as Chiffon., Teddy Yudain, Weston Long, Michael Iannucci, Josh Daniel, Camryn Hampton, and Chelsea Turbin.

Little Shop of Horrors follows Seymour, an awkward flower shop worker, as he makes a deal with a talking, flesh-eating plant. The plant, dubbed Audrey II after Seymour's coworker and crush, promises him fame and fortune in exchange for blood. Little Shop of Horrors features a book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken, direction by Michael Mayer, choreography by Ellenore Scott.
