It has been announced that the New York premiere of Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3's Pass Over will extend its run through to Sunday, July 22. Written by Antoinette Nwandu and directed by Danya Taymor, Pass Over was scheduled to end its limited engagement on Sunday, July 15. The cast will now perform an additional four performances on Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22, at 2pm and 7pm on both days at Lincoln Center's Claire Tow Theater

The cast of Pass Over includes Gabriel Ebert (as Mister/Ossifer), Jon Michael Hill (as Moses), and Namir Smallwood (as Kitch).

Synopsis: "Moses and Kitch stand around on the corner - talking smack, passing the time, and hoping that today a miracle will come.  A provocative mashup of Waiting for Godot and the Exodus saga, Pass Over exposes the unquestionable human spirit of young black men who dream about a promised land they've yet to find."

The world premiere of Pass Over was staged last summer at Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois. A film adaptation, directed by Spike Lee, also premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January of this year.

The creative team behind the LCT3 production features scenic design by Wilson Chin, costume design by Marci Rodgers, lighting design by Marcus Doshi, and sound design by Justin Ellington.
