David Furr & Brandon Uranowitz to join Adam Driver & Keri Russell in Lanford Wilson' Burn This at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway

The Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson's Burn This is set to begin performances on March 15, 2019 at the Hudson Theatre.

Producer David Binder has announced new details for the previously announced first-ever Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson's Burn This, including complete casting, creative team information, dates and theatre.

Burn This is set to begin previews at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway on March 15, 2019, ahead of an official opening on April 16.

Joining previously announced 3-time Emmy Award nominee and "Star Wars" favorite Adam Driver (as Pale) and Golden Globe winner & 3-time Emmy Award nominee Keri Russell (making her Broadway debut as Anna Mann) will be Tony Award nominee David Furr (as Burton) and 2-time Tony Award nominee Brandon Uranowitz (as Larry).

David Furr was last seen on the Great White Way in a Tony-nominated turn as Garry Lejeune in the 2016 revival of Noises Off. His other Broadway credits include The Importance of Being EarnestAccent on YouthCymbelineWho's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?The Rivals, and King Lear, his Broadway debut in 2004.

Brandon Uranowitz received Tony Award nominations for his performances in Falsettos (2017) and An American in Paris (2015). He has also starred in Prince of Broadway and Baby It's You! and can currently be seen in the role of Itzik in the 10-time Tony Award-winning "Best Musical" The Band's Visit.

Synopsis: "Burn This tells the story of four New Yorkers whose lives are uprooted by a young dancer's accidental death. Set in downtown New York in the raw and gritty 1980s, the combustible drama explores the spiritual and emotional isolation of the dangerous, sexy, raw and demanding Pale (Mr. Driver) and the modern dancer Anna Mann (Ms. Russell), and their tempestuous relationship after the two iconoclasts are brought together in the wake of a life-changing personal tragedy."

Under the direction of Tony Award winner Michael Mayer, the creative team for Burn This features scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Clint Ramos and lighting design by Natasha Katz.

Burn This originally premiered off-Broadway in 1987. The production starred John Malkovich as Pale and Joan Allen as Anna, and quickly transferred to Broadway's Plymouth Theatre in October of the same year. The critically acclaimed production ran for a total of 437 performances, closing on October 29, 1988 and Ms. Allen also won a Tony Award in 1988 for her efforts.

Adam Driver previously made his Broadway debut as Frank Gardner in the 2010 revival of George Bernard Shaw's Mrs. Warren's Profession. In 2011, he returned to Broadway to star as Basil Anthony in a revival of Terrence Rattigan's Man and Boy. His off-Broadway credits include playing Louis Johnson in the 2010 revival of Angels in AmericaPlaywrights Horizons' 2009 production of The RetributionistsClassic Stage Company's 2010 production of The Forest, and, most recently, his Lucille Lortel Award-winning performance as Cliff Lewis in the 2012 Roundabout Theatre Company production of Look Back in Anger. He is widely known for his role as Kylo Ren in "Star Wars - The Force Awakens," which he reprised in "Star Wars - The Last Jedi". His other notable screen credits include his three-time Emmy Award-nominated recurring TV role as Adam Sackler on "Girls", as well as "Logan Lucky," "Paterson," "This Is Where I Leave You," "Inside Llewyn Davis," "Lincoln," and "J. Edgar," among many others.

Keri Russell made her off-Broadway debut for MCC Theater as Jeannie in Neil LaBute's Fat Pig at the Lucille Lortel Theatre from November 2004 to February 2005. She is perhaps best known for her Golden Globe and 3-time Emmy Award-nominated TV role as Elizabeth Jennings on the hit FX series "The Americans" and her Golden Globe-winning role as Felicity Porter on The WB's "Felicity," as well as her appearances in such Hollywood films as "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," "Mission: Impossible III," "August Rush," and "Bedtime Stories". She also originated the role of Jenna Hunterson in the 2007 film "Waitress".

Both Ms. Russell and Mr. Driver are also set to star in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode IX" movie, scheduled to be released on December 20, 2019.
