Synopsis: "Join the eternally young Strat and his wild gang, The Lost, as they roam the streets of Obsidian, a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, ruled by the wicked and tyrannical Falco. When Strat first sets eyes on Falco's daughter, Raven, who has been locked away in the palace towers, he sets out to rescue her from her evil father's clutches in a full throttle tale of teenage love, youthful rebellion and living the rock and roll dream."

Featuring a book, music & lyrics by Jim Steinman, the musical includes iconic Meatloaf songs from the infamous "Bat Out of Hell" albums such as "I Would Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)," "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," "You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth," and, of course, the titular song.

The cast of Bat Out of Hell includes West End star Andrew Polec (as Strat), Emily Schultheis (as Raven), Bradley Dean (as Falco), Lulu Lloyd (as Sloane), Avionce Hoyles (as Tink), Harper Miles (as Zahara) and Tyrick Wiltez Jones (as Jagwire), with ensemble members Will Branner, Samantha Pauly, Zuri Washington, Kayla Cyphers, Erin Mosher, Emilie Battle, Kaleb Wells, Nik Alexander, Adam Kemmerer, Michael Milkanin, Lincoln Clauss, Alex Deleo, Paulina Jurzec, Nick Martinez and Tiernan Tunnicliffe.

Under the direction of Jay Scheib, the creative team features choreography by Emma Portner, musical direction by Ryan Cantwell, musical supervision & additional arrangements by Michael Reed, orchestrations by Steve Sidwell, scenic design by Jon Bausor, costume design by Jon Bausor & Meentje Nielsen, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, sound design by Gareth Owen, video design by Finn Ross, and fight direction by Stuart Boother.

Bat Out of Hell: The Musical premiered in Manchester, England, in February 2017, before heading to the London Coliseum in June 2017 and then onto Toronto, Canada in October 2017. It returned to the West End for an open-ended engagement at the Dominion Theatre from April 2018, which is now scheduled to play its final West End performance on January 5, 2019. Following its current return engagement in Toronto, the North American Tour continues in Detroit from November 6, 2018.
