A star-studded cast including Audra McDonald, Javier Muñoz and George Salazar will star in the concert premiere of new musical Sticks & Stones. Written by John McDaniel and Scott Longsdon, a stream of Sticks & Stones will be available to watch from October 16-20.

Adapting the Biblical story of David and Goliath, Sticks & Stones uses the Christian fable to tackle the issue of teen bullying. Speaking about the storyline, McDaniel said: "We will all come together to tell a story of perseverance, optimism and hope in order to benefit two vital entities, one actively providing for folks affected by COVID-19 and other life crises, and another working to validate the emotions of young people and provide the resources they need to not only survive, but thrive."

The cast includes Joshua Colley as David, alongside the six-time Tony Award-winning actress Audra McDonald as David's mother, Nizevet. The role of David's father, Jesse, will be played by Javier Muñoz, with George Salazar as King Saul and Mykal Kilgore as The Prophet Samuel.

The Sticks & Stones company also includes an ensemble made up of 34 states, as well as international singers from around the world.

Sticks & Stones will be available to watch on BroadwayWorld and Broadway Cares from October 16-20. Audience members can also donate to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and the Born This Way Foundation.
