Audible Theater has announced three more shows in its fall season at the Minetta Lane Theatre, including two three-night events, And So We Walked and An Evening with Solea Pfeiffer, and one four-week run of Approval Junkie.

Firstly, DeLanna Studi's And So We Walked: An Artist's Journey Along the Trail of Tears will play from October 28-30. Studi, a Cherokee woman, performs her own memoir detailing her six-week, 900-mile journey on the Trail of Tears, the same path her great-great grandparents were forced to walk in the 1830s. She embarked on the journey with her father to better understand her people's history and identity. The play draws on Studi's own experiences coupled with firsthand interviews and historical research. Audible Theater co-produces the show with Octopus Theatricals.

Next, from November 4-6 will be An Evening with Solea Pfeiffer. In her New York solo concert debut, Pfeiffer will perform hits from HamiltonEvitaAlmost Famous, and more shows she has appeared in, in addition to songs from other artists who have shaped her career. Her musical performances are coupled with anecdotes from her own life in this deeply personal show.

Finally, Audible Theater will present Approval Junkie from November 16 to December 12, written and performed by comedian and Emmy Award-winning journalist Faith Salie. The play is adapted from Salie's memoir of the same name. She recounts anecdotes from a life of seeking validation in all the wrong places, including while winning her high school beauty pageant and picking out the perfect outfit for her divorce. Amanda Watkins will direct.

These three productions join two previously announced shows in Audible's in-person season. Wallace Shawn's Obie Award-winning play The Fever will kick off the season beginning October 8. Later, beginning in January 2022, Audible Theater will present a revival of Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night.

In addition to its live offerings, Audible Theater will stream four works online as part of its season. These include Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen's Coal Country, along with three world-premiere audio plays: Deep Fake by Sharyn Rothstein, Descent by Alexandra Wood, and The Cube by Adam Rapp.

And So We Walked tickets and Approval Junkie tickets are on sale now. An Evening with Solea Pfeiffer tickets will be on sale soon.
